We are proud to announce the first international band taking part in the 2027 Birmingham International Tattoo – Tveit Union Musikkorps from Norway.
Tveit Union Musikkorps is a marching band based in Kristiansand, in the south of Norway. The band was founded in 1991 and will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026. In addition to performing concerts, the band is best known for its marching displays. These performances focus on military style and precision, and the musical program varies from traditional Norwegian music to well-known film music and modern pop music. The band has performed at major Tattoos across Europe including, among others, the Berwick Military Tattoo, Berlin Tattoo, Belfast Tattoo, Bremen Tattoo, Sønderborg Tattoo and the Internationale Taptoe Belgie. The 2027 Birmingham International Tattoo will be their first visit to the West Midlands and they will premiere their new 2027 show at the two event.
A parade like no other, the Birmingham International Tattoo returns next February for a weekend of pageantry! Featuring massed international bands, pipes and drums, field gun racing, flyball, dancers, and a spectacular grand finale featuring over 1,000 performers. More bands and other performers will be announced soon.
