The Birmingham International Tattoo is renowned for its commitment to supporting charitable causes and for the 2027 Tattoo we are partnering with the Army Benevolent Fundto donate £1 for every ticket sold to the charity. In addition, the Army Benevolent Fund will join the two existing Tattoo charities – Royal Star & Garter and Troop Aid – to raise funds at the two performances through a retiring collection and contribution from each souvenir programme sold.
The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, here for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life.
The Army Benevolent Fund stand at the forefront of support for the Army family, last year supporting an estimated 80,000 people in 52 countries around the world. As one of the largest funders in the sector, they award grants to individuals and families, and fund leading organisations that support soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. When they hear of a person or family in need, they aim to respond within 48 hours.
