National Cadet Week is an opportunity to recognise the thousands of young people who are part of the Cadet movement and to celebrate the confidence, teamwork, leadership and sense of service that the Cadet experience helps to develop. At the start of #NationalCadetWeek, we are proud at the Birmingham International Tattoo of all the young people who take part each year, including the cadets and others, and our own role in helping them develop their skills and confidence during the weekend.

The Birmingham International Tattoo is proud to recognise the spirit of remembrance that brings thousands of motorcyclists together at the National Memorial Arboretum (or the newly named Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens - not our preferred name!) riding to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Look out for Troop Aid UK who will have some our leaflets and postcards available. Ride safe. Ride together. 🇺🇦 HONOURING THE DEFENDERS OF UKRAINE As Ukraine marks the Day of the Defenders of Ukraine (October 1) we remember with pride a very special moment from the 2026 Birmingham International Tattoo. Members of the Ukrainian Army and Navy joined us in the bp pulse LIVE arena for our Grand Finale during the Saturday evening performance. Our 1,000 performers stood to attention as the Ukrainian contingent entered the arena — and our audience rose as one to give them an extraordinary standing ovation. The response was so powerful that the Tattoo could not continue for several minutes as the applause

Proud to be in Solihull. The Birmingham International Tattoo is proud to call Solihull its home. We started the Tattoo in 1989 at the NEC (The Nation's Experience Capital) and after a few years in the City Centre we are now back. Each year, bp pulse LIVE brings together 1,000 performers for a spectacular celebration of music, pageantry and tradition. But our connection with Solihull goes beyond the arena. We are grateful for the ongoing support of the Mayor of Solihull and their staff plus the local MP Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst MP, an Army veteran himself, plus all the staff

More than entertainment. Making a difference. The Birmingham International Tattoo has always been about more than the spectacle in the arena. It is also an opportunity to support those who have served and their families. For our 2027 Tattoo, we are proud to be supporting the Army Benevolent Fund in three ways: £1 from every ticket sold will be donated, there will be a retiring collection at the Sunday performance, and a contribution will be made from programme sales.
